Pakistani woman crosses LoC to enter India

Jammu, Nov 13 (IANS) A young Pakistani woman Thursday crossed over to India from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir but it was not immediately clear why she did so, the police said. Ashia, in her early twenties, crossed over to the Indian side of Jammu and Kashmir in Sunderbani area, about 120 km north of here.

She was being questioned by the Border Security Force and the police.

Police officials said that the motive behind crossing over to India is being ascertained.

The Pakistani Rangers have been informed about the woman, officials said.
