Pakistani teacher gunned down
June 20th, 2012 - 12:23 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, June 20 (IANS) A school teacher was shot dead by motorcycle-borne gunmen in Pakistan’s Quetta city, police said.
The incident took place Tuesday in Arbab Karam Khan Road. The unidentified attackers riding a motorcycle opened fire at the school teacher and fled the scene, Geo News reported Wednesday.
The teacher, whose name was not disclosed, died on the spot. The motive behind the assassination was also not known.
A group of enraged students later began a protest march against the killing and blocked a key road. They forced shops to close and also damaged a police mobile post.
