Pakistani national held in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad Dec 19 (IANS) A Pakistani national who was living in Delhi on fake documents was arrested here Friday, the police said. Aftab Alam who changed his name to Ali Khan was arrested from near the NH-24 bypass intersection in Ghaziabad.

Alam was staying in the Seemapuri area of Delhi for the last three years and obtained a fake voter-I-card and ration card in the name of Ali Khan.

“Alam had come to India through Bangladesh. We are trying to find out the motive of his coming to India,” Umesh Roria, Vijay Nagar police station chief, said.
