Pakistan panel to probe fake certificates

Islamabad, Aug 8 (IANS) Pakistan has formed a committee to probe allegations that customs authorities had issued fake Free Trade Agreement clearance certificates.

Associated Press of Pakistan reported that the committee, constituted by Interior Minister Rehman Malik, will see whether any fake FTA certificates had been issued by the customs authorities and how many people got their goods cleared on alleged fake certificates.

The panel would also suggest measures to stop such malpractice.
