Pakistan Navy’s UAV crashes near oil refinery
July 19th, 2011 - 2:58 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 19 (IANS) An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of Pakistan Navy crashed near Korangi oil refinery in Karachi here Tuesday, the Geo News reported.
The UAV, which was on a routine training mission, crashed in the vicinity of the refinery following a bird hit, said Pakistan Navy sources.
Fire erupted in the refinery after the crash. However, no casualty has been reported, police sources said.
The refinery area is a no fly zone.
