New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) Deepak Garg, owner of the four-storey building under construction that collapsed in northeast Delhi last Saturday killing nine people, has been arrested, the police said Thursday. “We arrested Garg from the New Usmanpur area late Wednesday under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC),” said a police official.
Garg, a local builder-cum-real estate agent, was on the run since the under-construction illegal complex caved in Brahmpuri area early Saturday.
Nine people, including two minors, were killed and 17 others were injured.
