Over 80 children missing from Ghaziabad
March 10th, 2010 - 12:08 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, March 9 (IANS) Over 80 children have been reported missing from Ghaziabad in the last one year, police said Tuesday.
As many as 83 children are currently missing from the city. This year, so far 25 children were reported missing and of them police managed to recover 17.
In 2009, 136 children went missing and of them 89 were recovered. In 2008, 201 children had gone missing and 183 were found. In 2007, 176 children went missing and 173 were found.
The area from where the maximum cases were reported were Bhovapur (Kaushambi), Nand Gram, and the entire Vijay Nagar police station area.
