Over 60 militants killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, Nov 9 (IANS) Over 60 Taliban militants were killed in fighting with security forces in eastern Afghanistan, Xinhua reported Wednesday.
The fighting erupted Tuesday night when militants attacked Afghan and NATO-led forces in Barmal district of Paktika province, bordering Pakistan, the provincial administration said.
