Over 200,000 students to receive IGNOU degrees
March 24th, 2011 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 24 (IANS) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will award degrees and diplomas to about 215,000 students April 2, a varsity official said Thursday.
“It will be our 22nd convocation ceremony. Apart from the degrees and diplomas, 78 students from across the country will be honoured with gold medals,” the IGNOU official added.
A total of 6,628 students including 12 gold medalists from Delhi will receive their degrees and diplomas. Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal will be the chief guest.
