ONGC quarterly net profit rises 60 percent
November 4th, 2011 - 8:11 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Nov 4 (IANS) State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Friday reported an increase of 60 percent in net profit at Rs.8,642.23 crore for the quarter ended Sep 30 as against Rs.5,388.77 crore during the like period in the previous financial year.
The total income stood at Rs.24,058.33 crore — up 24.4 per cent during the quarter under review — as against Rs.19,336.46 crore during the like period of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company closed 0.11 percent lower at Rs.277.65.
