One rebel killed in gunbattle
September 23rd, 2011 - 1:37 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Sep 23 (IANS) A rebel was killed and two others were injured in a gunbattle between two Maoist groups in Jharkhand Friday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Mamta Ganju, Jharkhand Police spokesperson R.K. Mallik told IANS.
The fight happened near Lopo village of Chatra district, 160 km from here, between activists of Trititya Prastuti Committee and Nag group — a splinter group of Jharkhand Prastuti Committee (JPC).
