One killed, three injured by DTC bus
January 21st, 2012 - 1:05 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 20 (IANS) A 17-year-old boy was killed and three people, including a woman, were injured after being hit by a Delhi Transport Corporation bus in the national capital, police said Friday.
“The incident was reported around 11 a.m. Friday in south Delhi’s Amar Colony area when the driver of the bus lost control due to break failure. The bus ended up hitting four people on the pavement,” said a police officer.
While Naveen was declared brought dead, the women, who is unidentified yet, is critical.
The other victims are Kanihya Lal,30, and Sarki Paswan who is also 30.
The 38 year-old-driver, Devendra, has been arrested for further interrogation, police said
The deceased is the resident of Palwal in Haryana.
