One killed in road accident
December 9th, 2011 - 12:42 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS) A 22-year-old man was killed and six others were injured after a speeding mini-truck hit a mini-bus in west Delhi Thursday, police said. The mini-truck driver was arrested.
The incident took place around 8.30 a.m. near a bus stand in Mangolpuri area.
“Bharat, 22, was killed. The injured have been identified as Poonam, Indu, Anil, Shabbir and Sanjay, mini-bust driver, and Om Prakash, the accused mini-truck driver,” said a police officer.
“A case of rash and negligent driving was registered against Om Prakash, who is under custody,” added the officer.
