One killed in Quetta bomb blast
June 7th, 2011 - 9:34 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, June 7 (IANS) One person was killed after a bomb exploded Tuesday near a police station in Quetta, capital of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, Online news agency reported.
A police vehicle was passing by when the bomb, planted on the roadside in Hazar Gunji near Shalkot police station detonated with a loud bang, DSP Shalkot Sikandar Tareen told a private TV channel.
No one in the vehicle was injured but the man who planted the bomb died, Tareen said.
