One killed, four injured in Delhi accident
February 25th, 2009 - 11:27 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 25 (IANS) One person was killed and four others were injured here Wednesday when an autorickshaw collided head-on with a speeding car, the police said.
According to police, Vinod, 45, and his two sons - Nitin, 22, and Nikhil, 24, were travelling in the autorickshaw when a Maruti Omni car rammed into it near the Moolchand flyover in south Delhi.
The speeding car dragged the autorickshaw for several metres, the police said, adding that the drivers of the two vehicles, and the father and the two sons sustained critical injuries in the accident.
The injured were taken to the AIIMS trauma centre where Nikhil succumbed to his injuries, the police said.
