One killed as train hits jeep in Odisha
November 8th, 2011 - 2:39 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Nov 8 (IANS) One person was killed and two others were critically injured when a passenger train hit a jeep Tuesday in Odisha’s Bolangir district, police said.
The Delhi-Visakhapatnam Samata Express hit the jeep near Muribahal railway station, about 430 km from here, when it was passing through an unmanned crossing, police told IANS.
The jeep was carrying three people. While one person died on the spot, two others sustained critical injuries, he said.
