One killed as school bus overturns in Punjab
February 10th, 2010 - 1:28 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Chandigarh, Feb 10 (IANS) A schoolgirl was killed Wednesday and several injured when their bus overturned near Punjab’s religious town of Talwandi Sabo.
Police said the bus belonging to a private school in Rama Mandi town in Bathinda district, 250 km from here, had picked up the children and was headed towards school when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned in a ditch.
The victim was crushed under the bus as it overturned. The injured students were rushed to a nearby hospital.
