One killed, 12 injured in fire
March 2nd, 2011 - 10:09 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 2 (IANS) A man was killed and 12 others were injured when cooking gas leaked and led to a fire in a multi-storey building here, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place in Amar Colony in south Delhi around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Mustak Ahmed, the building owner, died of burn injuries early Wednesday.
Some people were cooking food on a stove on the first floor when the gas leaked. The fire engulfed the basement, ground, first and second floors of the building.
