One injured in fire in Assam emporium in Delhi
December 10th, 2009 - 5:13 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS) A man was injured in a fire in the Assam emporium at Connaught Place in the national capital Thursday, a fire department official said.
The incident took place at 11.05 a.m. in the emporium situated in Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, a fire officer said.
“One person was rescued from the fourth floor of the emporium. He was in an unconscious state and was rushed to hospital,” the officer said.
According to the fire department, 25 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
