One held with drugs
November 8th, 2011 - 10:21 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) A 32-year-old peddler was arrested and heroin worth more than Rs.2 crore seized here, police said Tuesday.
Ram Gopal, was arrested Monday near north Delhi’s inter-state bus terminal, where he was supposed to deliver the consignment to a client.
“We recovered 2.2 kgs of heroin worth around Rs.2.20 crore,” a police officer said.
Gopal is a resident of Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh and was involved in drug trafficking for the last 10-12 years. He was earlier arrested on similar charges.
