One held in 17 cases
March 16th, 2011 - 12:29 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 15 (IANS) He had 17 cases lodged against him, right from robbery and rioting to molestation, but 35-year-old Rajinder finally ran out of luck when he was nabbed in south Delhi by the police.
Rajender, a resident of Govindpuri in south Delhi, was held Monday near Lotus Temple when he was riding a stolen motorcycle.
The police recovered a country-made pistol and two live cartridges of .315 bore.
During the interrogation, he said that he ended up becoming a criminal because of his addiction to alcohol and cigarettes, which he could not afford.
Rajender was wanted in a recent incident of robbery which took place in an Outer Mudrika bus.
