One dead in Mumbai building collapse
September 7th, 2010 - 4:24 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Sep 7 (IANS) One person was killed and another severely injured as part of a building collapsed in south Mumbai, a fire brigade official said here Tuesday.
“A part of the five-storey building came crashing down this afternoon. The building - Chokshi Mansion - was in the list of dangerous buildings of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC),” a fire brigade official said.
“We have rescued a few people. We are yet to identify the person who died,” the official added.
