One construction worker killed
November 4th, 2011 - 12:55 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 3 (IANS) One construction worker was buried under mud and another injured when they were digging the earth in the basement of a shop in Paharganj area in central Delhi, said a fire official.
“The deceased has been identified as Lalit, 25, who was killed when he along with his co worker was engaged in construction work in the basement of a shop in central Delhi’s Paharganj area. The incident was reported around 6 .p.m Thursday.” said the officer.
The other injured has been identified as Gohal who is 22-year-old.
“They were taken taken to LNJP hospital where Lalit was declared brought dead while Gohal was discharged after treatment,” he added.
Two fire tenders were pressed into service.
