O’Connell to make Broadway debut
September 18th, 2011 - 3:12 am ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 18 (IANS) Actor Jerry O’Connell is set to make his Broadway debut in new musical comedy “Seminar”.
The “Stand By Me” actor will play an aspiring young writer taking classes from a world-class scholar, Leonard, portrayed by “Private Lives” star Alan Rickman, reports dailystar.co.uk.
Previews will begin at the Golden theatre Oct 27, with opening night set for Nov 20.
The stage stint will mean O’Connell will be relocating from Los Angeles to New York, leaving his actress wife Rebecca Romijn to look after their two-year-old twin daughters.
