clipboard0126Washington, Nov. 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The official party being held at the White House in Washington for the Indian PM, Dr. Manmohan Singh and his wife, witnessed a couple of grate crashers in the form of Virginia based couple - Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi who got kicked out of the party but not without getting their pictures taken with the President Barack Obama and the Vice President Joe Biden. The couple were apparently trying to secure a place in the Bravo network’s reality show, “The Real Housewives of D.C “, where the contestants are yet to be selected.

The incident brought about President Obama asking “a full review” of the incident and Mark Sullivan - the Secret Service Director issuing his “rare apology”. The couple have not been charged with criminal charges but the sources claim that The Secret Service may go ahead and press the charges on them as soon as they determine whether crashing the party “is illegal or not”.

The incident showed a big glitch on the part of the authorities in the safety measures inside the white house itself, as the couple were not only allowed to enter the grounds but also attended the state reception. It was said, that at a particular “check point”, the procedures were not followed according to the standards and even the invitation cards were not properly scrutinized.

The violating couple has not made a comment yet and their lawyer, Paul Gardener has also kept mum about the situation. However, Mr. Gardener did write something on the Salahi’s FaceBook wall which read: “My clients were cleared by the White House, to be there.”
