Notorious Mumbai shooter arrested in Lucknow
August 4th, 2010 - 9:19 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Aug 4 (IANS) The Uttar Pradesh police Wednesday nabbed a notorious Mumbai shooter Osama, known to be closely associated with the dreaded Chhota Rajan gang.
“Originally a resident of Arand village in Jaunpur district, Osama was arrested from the Badshahnagar railway station in Lucknow at about 8.30 a.m. today (Wednesday)”, additional director general of police Brij Lal told journalists.
“He has been sent by Wednesday evening’s flight to Mumbai under the custody of a local police party,” he added.
As an active member of the Chhota Rajan gang in the past, Osama was stated to have been involved in several cases of murder and other heinous crimes in Mumbai.
