North Korea to submit list of nuclear facilities Thursday: reports

Seoul, June 26 (IANS) North Korea is expected to hand over a list of its nuclear facilities to Beijing late Thursday, WAM reported quoting Yonhap News agency. The document will provide details on North Korea’s nuclear programme including plutonium stockpiles.

Washington plans to begin the initial process for removing Pyongyang from its list of countries that sponsor terrorism after the declaration is submitted.

On Friday, North Korea is to dismantle a cooling tower at its main nuclear site in Yongbyon. The demolition would be broadcast live across the world.

South Korea, China, Russia, Britain, the US and the UN are currently holding talks with North Korea to disband its nuclear programme.
