Noida-Greater Noida expressway closed Wednesday for CWG trial
September 21st, 2010 - 11:51 pm ICT by IANSNoida, Sep 21 (IANS) The Noida-Greater Noida expressway will remain closed from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Wednesday as the Noida police will carry out a mock drill in preparation for the Commonwealth Games cycling event.
Those coming from Mayur Vihar in Delhi, will have to take the Dadri road to reach Greater Noida while those coming from Sarita Vihar will have to take Mahamaya flyover to reach Sec-49 Noida, a police officer said.
Some 7,000 athletes and officials from 71 countries and territories are expected to participate in the Games, India’s biggest sporting event since the 1982 Asian Games.
