Noida gets second CEO in two days

Lucknow, Nov 2 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh’s Noida got its second chief executive officer (CEO) in two days, with the state government Wednesday reversing its decision of re-intalling a previous officer in the office.

Balwinder Kumar was removed from the CEO’s position on Tuesday afternoon and the government decided to bring back Mohinder Singh, who was transferred from the post July. However, another order issued by the state government here Wednesday evening sends Jeevesh Nandan as the new CEO of Noida.

Nandan, who recently returned from deputation with the union government, was earlier posted as secretary in the information technology department here.

Balwinder Kumar will take over as principal secretary (commercial taxes), while Mohinder Singh will continue in his existing post of Noida and Yamuna Expressway Authority chairman cum Uttar Pradesh export commissioner.
