No rain, but capital still cool

New Delhi, April 18 (IANS) No rains were predicted Monday, but the weekend shower left its cooling effect on the capital as the minimum temperature was recorded at a good four degrees below average.

“The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 19 degrees Celsius, which is four notches below average. There are no more rains predicted. However, the skies are expected to get partly cloudy by afternoon or early evening,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level is expected to oscillate between a minimum and maximum of 32 and 83 percent respectively.
