Nitish Katara murder case: Vishal Yadav moves interim bail plea
December 18th, 2009 - 5:21 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS) Vishal Yadav, who is serving life sentence for killing Nitish Katara, Friday moved the Delhi High Court seeking interim bail to attend his sister’s marriage.
A division bench comprising Justices Vipin Sanghi and Anil Kumar after admitting Vishal’s plea issued notice to Delhi Police and Uttar Pradesh Police and asked them to file their response by Dec 23.
Vishal in his plea demanded that he may be granted interim bail for two months to attend his sister’s marriage on Jan 21 next year.
Vikas and Vishal Yadav were sentenced to life imprisonment by a city court last year for killing Nitish Katara in 2002 after he developed intimacy with their sister Bharti Yadav.
