Nigerian held with fake currency in Chandigarh
December 29th, 2010 - 7:14 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Dec 29 (IANS) A Nigerian national was arrested here for travelling without official documents and possessing counterfeit currency, police said Wednesday. Joseph Prince Michael Chukwudozie, who hails from Ezegbo Lagos town of Nigeria, was arrested by the economic offences wing of Chandigarh police Tuesday night from Sector 17 inter-state bus terminus (ISBT).
He had not even got himself registered as a foreigner, police said. A case under the Foreign Immigration Act has been registered.
