News channel employee’s house burgled in Delhi
January 16th, 2010 - 9:20 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) An employee of a private television news channel Saturday reported that her house in east Delhi has been burgled and jewellery and a laptop taken. Police suspect her maid is involved.
Richa, who works with a leading television channel, found her rented house in Mayur Vihar Phase-III burgled after she returned home from work around 1.30 a.m.
Police said they have detained the maid for questioning. “The maid locks the house when she leaves after cleaning. We are questioning her,” a police official said.
