Nepali woman found dead in Delhi
May 7th, 2011 - 11:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 7 (IANS) A 23-year-old Nepali woman was found dead in mysterious circumstances near her home in east Delhi, police said Saturday.
Kamla, who worked as a maid, was living with her husband Damodar and three kids at bungalow number 21 at Ashoka Niketan in Anand Vihar area.
“The landlord of the bungalow was living out of town and allowed Kamla and her family to live in the servant house on the promise that they will take care of his house,” said a senior police officer officer.
“She had a verbal disagreement with her husband Friday night. She told him that she is going to the roof to sleep,” said the officer.
On Saturday morning, “she was found dead on the roof of the adjacent bungalow number 22 where she was working as maid”, said the officer.
The officer said, “We are investigating and awaiting the post-mortem examination report”.
