Nepali arrested for ISI links
January 3rd, 2011 - 10:11 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Jan 3 (IANS) The Uttar Pradesh Police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested a Nepali national for his alleged links with Pakistan’s spy agency –Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), officials said Monday.Wasim alias Khabbu was nabbed Sunday from Barabanki town, 35 km from Lucknow, said a press statement issued here.
Wasim, actively involved in anti-national activities, used to give shelter to terrorists and ISI agents and assisted them in entering India through the Nepal border, added the statement.
ATS officials are interrogating Wasim to get more information about his functioning.
