Madrid, Nov 8 (IANS) Spain’s football coach Vicente del Bosque has named his squad for the side’s two friendly matches against England and Costa Rica.
Spain, who have already qualified for the European Championships next summer, will play England in Wembley next Saturday, before flying to Costa Rica, where they have a match Nov 15.
Del Bosque has handed a recall to Sevilla winger Jesus Navas, who was a substitute in the 2010 World Cup final when Spain defeated Holland 1-0, and has also recalled Malaga left back Nacho Monreal, who had been left out of recent squads following his departure from Osasuna, Xinhua reported.
Surprisingly, there is still no place in the squad for Valencia striker Roberto Soldado, despite the injury suffered by Sevilla’s Alvaro Negredo. Meanwhile, out of form Chelsea forward, Fernando Torres maintains his place in the squad.

Defenders: Alvaro Arbeloa (Real Madrid), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Gerard Pique (Barcelona), Jordi Alba (Valencia), Carles Puyol (Barcelona), Raul Albiol (Real Madrid) y Nacho Monreal (Malaga).
