Mumbai CBI officer awarded President’s Police Medal

New Delhi, April 30 (IANS) Joint Director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Rishi Raj Singh, posted in Mumbai, was Saturday awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, a statement said.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh presented the award here to Rishi Raj Singh, serving as joint director in Mumbai since May 2008.
He was earlier awarded the Prime Minister’s Police Medal for meritorious service in 2001 while serving in the Special Protection Group, responsible for protecting the prime minister.
Rishi Raj Singh joined the Indian Police Service in 1985.
