Mumbai-bound plane hit by bird, lands safely
October 21st, 2010 - 3:33 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Oct 20 (IANS) A Mumbai-bound Kingfisher Airlines flight made a safe landing after it was hit by a bird while descending at the Chhatrapati Shivaji airport here Thursday, an airline official said.
Flight IT 3162 from Hyderabad to Mumbai carried 136 passengers and crew, the spokesman said. Engineers inspected the plane and cleared it for the next flight.
