MRPL posts six-fold increase in profit
July 26th, 2011 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 26 (IANS) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC), Tuesday posted a six-fold increase in net profit at Rs.172.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The net profit during the like period in the previous financial year was Rs.28.46 crore.
Net sales stood at Rs.13,369 crore in the quarter under review, up 70 percent as compared to Rs.7,877.5 crore during the corresponding period.
