Mother, child among 4 killed in Jharkhand accident
January 10th, 2011 - 7:14 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Jan 10 (IANS) A mother and her child were among four people killed Monday in a road accident in Jharkhand’s coal city Dhanbad, police said.According to police, the victims were travelling in a car that collided with a dumper truck near Rajapur Basti in Dhanbad district, around 240 km from Ranchi. Four people were killed on the spot and two were injured.
The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. The accident sparked anger among locals who blocked the national highway in protest.
