Moscow cop held with one kg cocaine
August 18th, 2012 - 8:12 pm ICT by IANSMoscow, Aug 18 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A police officer in Moscow was dismissed from service as well as detained after one kg of cocaine was found in his possession, the interior ministry said Saturday.
A senior sergeant, whose name was not disclosed, from the juvenile delinquency department was detained Friday when he was off duty and in civilian clothes, the ministry said.
A total of 995.86 grams of cocaine was found on him, the ministry said.
The officer was instantly dismissed from the force and is facing criminal charges.
