Morning fog to return to Delhi
January 11th, 2009 - 12:40 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 11 (IANS) Even as Delhi woke up to yet another warm winter morning Sunday, the weatherman has forecast that morning fog is likely to return to the capital in the coming days.”There will be fog in the morning (and) during the day there will be mainly clear skies,” an official of the Safdarjung met office told IANS.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature recorded early Sunday was 8.6 degree Celsius — this is expected to lower to 7 degrees Celsius in coming days.
“Contrary to earlier forecast, there was no rain. None is expected in the following days either,” the official added.
Humidity was recorded at 92 percent and the maximum temperature for the day will hover around 20 degrees Celsius.
