Mumbai, Sep 21 (IANS) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray Wednesday alleged that his estranged cousin and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray is upset as “Narendra Modi probably does not entertain him”.
“I have kept his statement (of yesterday) in a safe deposit vault. I shall reply to it at an appropriate time. His anger stems from the fact that (Gujarat Chief Minister) Narendra Modi probably does not entertain him,” Raj told reporters.
Raj Thackeray pointed out that he had gone as Modi’s guest to Gujarat last month to make a first-hand assessment of the development of that state.
Raj Thackeray was referring to counsin Uddhav’s outburst Tuesday. The latter called Raj “a traitor” and “an animal” and accused him of bad-mouthing Maharashtra in Gujarat.
