Mock security drill in Delhi stadium
May 6th, 2010 - 4:30 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 6 (IANS) Delhi Police conducted a mock security drill at the Dhyanchand national stadium here Thursday to check the preparedness of security agencies for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games, an official said.
“A mock security drill was conducted at the Dhyanchand national stadium to check the preparedness of security agencies in case of a terror strike,” a police official said.
The 19th Commonwealth Games are scheduled to be held in the Indian capital Oct 3-14 later this year.
