Mock drill at Delhi cinema hall
November 24th, 2009 - 7:20 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS) A mock drill was conducted at a cinema hall in the national capital Tuesday to check the preparedness of security agencies in case of any emergency, police said.
As per the drill, a message was spread about a bomb blast in south Delhi’s PVR Saket around 3 p.m., a police officer said. However, the drill led to some panic in the area with anxious people seeking safe locations after hearing about the “blast”.
“It was part of a security drill to check the effectiveness of the response system in the wake of a bomb blast in the city,” the officer said.
