Misty Diwali morning in Delhi
October 26th, 2011 - 12:03 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS) A cool misty Wednesday morning greeted Delhiites on the festival of Diwali with the minimum temperature recorded at season’s average of 17.5 degrees Celsius.
“The day will remain clear and a cool breeze will blow during the evening,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
“The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees,” he said.
Temperatures have been gradually dipping and the Met office says the mercury will further go down during the week.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded a notch below average at 31.2 degrees.
