Missing youth’s mutilated body found
July 31st, 2011 - 11:16 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 31 (IANS) The body of a youth, missing since saturday, was found chopped in four pieces, near a railway station in south Delhi Sunday, police said.
The young man has been identified as Vishal Gupta (25), a resident of Mangolpuri in north Delhi.
The body pieces were found lying on the tracks near Okhla railway station, police said.
Gupta left his house Saturday to meet a friend in Punjabi Bagh but did not return till late evening.
His family later registered a case of a missing person in Mangolpuri police station.
“A passer-by informed us that a dead body is lying on the Okhla railway track,” officials said.
Police have registered a case and are investigating if it is a case of murder, suicide or an accident.
