Missing south Delhi woman found dead
March 21st, 2009 - 10:32 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 21 (IANS) The body of a missing call centre employee has been found in Faridabad, next to the national capital, police said Saturday. Sagrika Ghosh, resident of Vasant Vihar in south Delhi, was missing since Tuesday.
“Sagrika had left her home for office in Noida Tuesday but did not return home till late night next day. Her father J.Z. Narayan approached the local police station and lodged a kidnapping case in this regard Thursday. Sagrika’s body was discovered by Faridabad police three km from Surajkund area Friday night,” said a senior police official.
The official said that Sagrika’s body did not bear any injury marks and hence, they could not confirm she had been murdered.
“We are now waiting for the autopsy report,” he said.
Sagrika, the only daughter of her parents, used to work with a call centre in Noida’s sector 126. She had been living with her parents.
Her father is a retired government official.
