Minor rescued from Delhi brothel
December 14th, 2010 - 7:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 14 (IANS) A 17-year-old girl, hailing from West Bengal, was rescued from a brothel in the capital, police said Tuesday. The police received a tip-off Monday that the girl was kept in a brothel on G.B. Road and forced into prostitution, an official said.
“We rescued the girl from Kotha No.56 and arrested the owner Salma,” the official added.
On questioning, the girl said that a person had brought her to Delhi on the pretext of sightseeing and sold her to Salma.
