Minor girl crushed to death in Delhi
July 15th, 2011 - 10:31 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 15 (IANS) A four-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh lost her life after she came under the wheels of a bus in Delhi Friday, police said. The driver of the vehicle has been arrested.
“Sonam died when she came under an Uttar Pradesh roadways bus near Anand Vihar bus terminal in east Delhi,” said a police officer. The girl was rushed to Lal Bahadur hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The bus was plying between Delhi and Hapur in Uttar Pradesh. “The driver, identified as Shiv Prakash, has been arrested and the vehicle has been impounded,” the officer added.
